FOH Assistant Manager job duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all front-of-house operations to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Hire, train, and manage front-of-house staff to ensure a high standard of service.
Communicate with the kitchen and hostess’ to control guest flow to maintain smooth and timely service.
Ensure a welcoming, efficient, and family-friendly dining atmosphere.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues.
Assist with organizing special events and services as needed.
Monitor and manage inventory for front-of-house supplies.
Facilitate administrative procedures with respect to server reports, cash drops, invoice transfers to accounting and cashier bank reconciliation.
Support FOH Manager in any and all requests.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in front-of-house management, ideally in a high-volume setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, focusing on customer satisfaction.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with POS system and Open Table/Resy
