Job Responsibilities:

3. Customer Service: Provide friendly and prompt service, answer customer inquiries, and resolve any concerns or complaints.
4. Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the restaurant's menu offerings to assist customers with their orders and provide recommendations as needed.
5. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area and surrounding space clean and organized, including wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies.
6. Upselling: Suggest additional items or promotions to customers to enhance their dining experience and increase sales.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered efficiently.
8. Compliance: Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling of food and maintaining a sanitary work environment.
9. Teamwork: Assist coworkers in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
10. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to management to ensure adequate supplies.
11. Training Support: Assist in training new employees on cashier duties and customer service standards.
12. Problem-Solving: Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise during service to maintain customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cashier or in customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- Familiarity with electronic payment systems
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills
