Job Description:
We are seeking a sales-oriented individual to join our team at Cuban Creations Cigar Bar in the French Quarter. While cigar knowledge is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate with the necessary skills. This role offers an hourly wage plus participation in a tip pool.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Sell Cigars: Assist customers in selecting and purchasing cigars, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
2. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
3. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the lounge clean and organized, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and restocking supplies.
4. Cut and Light Cigars: Properly cut and light cigars for customers, ensuring a pleasant smoking experience.
5. Inventory Management: Monitor cigar stock levels and assist with inventory replenishment.
6. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about different cigar types, brands, and accessories to assist customers effectively.
7. Sales Goals: Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
8. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including age verification for tobacco sales.
