Seeking a reliable and well-rounded Breakfast Brunch Lunch Cook. Early morning shifts, starting at 5:45am and out by 1:30pm. Full time. No nights.
Busy cafe in a French Quarter boutique hotel, with a classic menu of basic egg dishes, sandwiches, salads, crepes, and NOLA specialties, cooked from scratch.
We have a tight crew who value cooperation and a respectful workplace. We are looking for someone who is comfortable contributing in a fast paced environment based on working together.
We are open every day of the year, so most weekends and holidays are required.
Important skills are:
Cooking to order quickly and consistently.
Maintaining a clean, organized line and kitchen. Safe food handling and knowledge of proper sanitation.
Efficient prep and good knife skills.
Keeping up with fair share of cleaning, side work, and prep.
Some familiarity with POS system and FOH operations would be a big plus.
