We're seeking an energetic and friendly team member to be fill a key front of house role in our restaurant and bakery. We're a high volume bagel shop serving breakfast and lunch, located on the Lafitte Greenway in Mid City. You'll interact with customers, take orders, run food to tables, and help maintain a beautiful, clean enviroment for our guests. You must be a people person who is excited to create fun, positive experiences for our customers, interact professionally with the kitchen team and co-workers.
Key skills/tasks:
- Have passion for our food, bagels, and delivering amazing customer service
- Accurately share information about our menu and specials
- Take orders for food and beverages
- Prepare coffee and beverages, batch drinks to recipe, and stock retail items
- Maintain service areas, stock stations before and after your shift
- Check food as it comes from the kitchen to ensure order accuracy, presentation and standards
- Deliver food to guests, answer questions/special requests
- Keep proper communication with management and kitchen staff
- Organize catering orders to ensure accuracy
- Bus/clean tables and maintain a beautiful space
- Able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
Required Years of Experience: 1 year
Compensation: $14/hour plus tip share
