We are looking for experienced and personable line cooks to join our team at The Will and The Way.
This is an upscale, yet fun and casual bar and restaurant in an upbeat atmosphere.
Our line cooks need to have the ability and drive to prepare food efficiently and meticulously to exact recipe specifications while having a good time. Kitchen personnel will take true ownership over their station, and over the kitchen as a whole, as a part of a team with a common goal. You will be assisting the executive chef and sous chef with their daily tasks while collaborating with front of house staff to provide an excellent and memorable guest experience. Food running and bussing tables are included duties as part of a pooled tip system.

Job Responsibilities:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prep for service
Cook menu items to precise recipe specifications
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Open, close, and maintain kitchen and station throughout shift
Stock inventory and organize walk in and spaces to exact health and safety regulations as well as KM cleanliness specifications
Ensure that quality dishes (both in taste and presentation) come out consistently, efficiently, and briskly
Comply always with health and safety regulations
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Operate in a team oriented fashion with all coworkers, regardless of position or department
Assist with expediting and bringing food to front of house when necessary
Thoroughly clean, maintain, and properly shut down all equipment
Required skills:
Cooking experience or a true knack and passion for it!
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiarity with industry’s best practices as well as health and safety regulations
Ability to follow instructions and take the lead when its your turn!
Attention to detail and genuine care for the guest experience and product quality
