Housekeeper needed for bed & beak-fast Airbnb homes in the Garden District.
Job includes . Light outside yard maintance sweeping etc. Room turn overs. Maintain maids closet. General cleaning, laundry. Must have a good attention to detail. Prior housekeeping experience a MUST. Hotel experience is great. Must have a flexible schedule and be detail oriented.
Usually off Saturdays & Tuesday , some weeks 3 days . Some weekends off Saturday and Sunday.
Person must be organized and be able to follow detailed work order instructions per text .
Possible housing could be available on property.
This would be a bonus to help with being on call to respond to guest needs with extra pay.
compensation: Based on experience Position Responsibilities: New Orleans uptown maintain B&b areas in accordance with bnb standards.
Job Duties:
Maintains overall appearance of rooms and public areas in optimal condition.
Maintains the condition of the bnb deb & kitchen , rooms , light yard .
Works with maintenance/engineers and all other departments as needed on all maintenance issues.
Follows all safety procedure and policies of the hotel.
Report any hazards or injuries in the department or hotel and takes immediate action to correct.
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and used teamwork when providing guest service and experience.
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.
Provides genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to what remedies are appropriate.
Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
Position Requirements: Job Requirements: MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MORNINGS AND/OR EVENINGS (HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS AS WELL)
Hotel experience preferred but not mandatory.
Works well independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations.
Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, overnight, holidays and weekends.
Ability to read, write, and speak
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for entire shift.
Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to work outside and in all weather conditions
