The iconic Columns Hotel, located uptown on St. Charles Avenue, is seeking experienced and passionate candidates to join our restaurant and bar team. We are currently looking to fill a serving assistant role.
Required Years of Experience: 0-1 years
Highly competitive compensation- Server Assistants receive $8/hour along with a .5 share of the tip pool
All full-time employees are eligible for health insurance after 90 days

About the Job:
As a Server Assistant your main responsibilities will include working with the rest of the front-of-house team to assist with running food & drinks, performing table maintenance, bussing and resetting tables, and above all ensuring that every guest's need is met. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a similar customer service-oriented position, and above all has a passion for food, cocktails, wine, and hospitality. Must be great at multitasking and team orientated as we are a pooled house and expect everyone to assist wherever possible while on duty. This is an excellent entry-level position to learn the restaurant and hotel and be able to move up in the future.
