General Overview
Essential Functions
On Site Services:
Conduct routine property walkthroughs at assigned units
Execute on Heirloom’s walkthrough checklist for both arrivals and departures
Conduct routine tasks (light bulb/battery changes, basic repairs, etc)
Ticket maintenance requests as issues arise.
Basic site maintenance, ensuring high-traffic areas are clean and presentable
Works collaboratively with:
Housekeeping to complete consumable supply restocking
Guest Communications to assist with on-site guest response, as needed: lockouts, troubleshooting, customer service.
Special projects, as assigned
Guest Communications:
Elevate guest experience for VIP guests and provide unique anticipatory hospitality for guests who are visiting for special occasions.
Communicate with guests on the day of arrival, ensuring that they have completed the guest verification portal, are in agreement with our house rules and usage agreement, and have received accurate check in information in a timely manner.
Perform mid stay check ins with guests to ensure continuity in quality of guest experience and pre-emptively address issues that arise throughout guest stays.
Provide a seamless, single point of contact experience for guests at specific properties and developments. Process all incoming guest communications (text, email, phone call, online message, etc) in accordance with company policy.
Be present and visible as a resource for guests, assisting with wifi, luggage, and local recommendations
Requisites
2+ years of experience in a hospitality-driven environment
Basic technical knowledge of computers and household appliances
Comfortable using cloud based tools to track, manage, and complete work
Polished customer and client facing communicator
Proactive approach to problem solving (critical thinker), resourceful
Exemplary planning, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Capable of climbing stairs, ladders, able to lift up to 50lbs comfortably
Comfortable working independently and self directing
Schedule & Compensation
The Assistant Building Concierge role is a part time, hourly position based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The work schedule will be 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm CST Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday.
This position is located at 710 Baronne St. This is a 31 unit, 89 bedroom, licensed apartment hotel. The position will be responsible for the building premises and have an office and desk space based out of the building lobby (front desk). There may be instances where the Assistant Building Concierge is assigned to provide coverage at other company locations in the Greater New Orleans area, this will be infrequent and the company will make a good faith effort to provide adequate notice of location changes. Mileage reimbursal for these instances is available.
Compensation for this position is hourly based on experience. Bonus pay options are available.
