Must have previous experience in asbestos abatement and positive references speaking to his/her quality of work. All applicants are required to have a current asbestos certification, current asbestos license in Louisiana, current asbestos medical physical as well as a strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform asbestos abatement tasks according to established protocols and safety guidelines including the removal and
disposal of asbestos-containing materials
Set up containment areas to prevent the spread of hazardous materials
Use appropriate tools and equipment to remove and dispose of hazardous materials
Follow proper procedures for handling, packaging, and transporting hazardous materials.
Clean and restore affected areas after abatement is complete
Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete assigned tasks effectively
Requirements: MUST HAVE NO EXCEPTIONS WORKING ON MILTARY BASE
Current asbestos certification valid in the state of Louisiana
Current asbestos license valid in the state of Louisiana
Must be a US Citizen/Or authorized to work in the US
Must have a valid DL (current not expired)
Must be able to pass a background check to gain entrance on the base to work
Must be able to pass a drug test

HOTEL AND DAILY FOOD PER-DEIM:
We will provide hotel accommodations and a $20.00 daily food per-diem if you are coming in from out of town!
We have demolition job projects coming up as well! That will not require State License
