Prominent defense firm is seeking experienced legal secretaries specifically litigation, real estate, and appellate work. Responsibilities include:
⢠Preparing legal documents and correspondence
â¢Calendaring appointments and deadlines
⢠Transcription
⢠Electronic court filings
⢠Scheduling meetings
⢠Copying and scanning
⢠Entering attorney timesheets and mailing of monthly bills
⢠Maintaining filing
⢠Communicating with clients, courts and attorneys
⢠Preparing documents for meetings and setting up conference rooms for meetings
Successful candidates will have the following qualities:
â¢Technology savvy - experience with document management programs is required
â¢Proficient in all Microsoft office products
â¢Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar and proofreading
â¢Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
â¢Appellate experience a plus!
â¢Real estate transaction experience a plus!
