I’m a multidisciplinary creative artist, builder of Black cultural space, and social entrepreneur with several projects in motion. I’m looking for a dedicated, faithful, devoted Personal Assistant to function as my “right hand” — someone who can help manage and execute the day-to-day details so I can stay focused on vision, strategy, and creative work. My assistant will be expected to do everything from getting their hands dirty cleaning up messy clutter and helping me make art at my workshop to administrative office duties and business meetings. As my assistant will be my right hand who I will trust with deeply personal information, artistic trade secrets and more, she needs to be someone that I am totally comfortable with and some who is totally comfortable with me. Like all artists, I have my quirks, but let's see if we can make it work:) She must be self-motivated and smart and willing to work a flexible work schedule that includes weekends. She should also be computer literate and should be familiar with Black art, Black history, Black struggle and be super comfortable around Black people, particularly Black men because thats what I am. Must also have transportation, as she will need to run errands from time to time.
