It is an unpaid position with high potential for internal growth and plenty of work experience in building multimedia design, developing digital marketing campaigns, artist management, and teamwork. Responsibilities The social media manager is responsible for building brand awareness by managing content databases, scheduling tools, and analytics systems to reach the proper audiences across all social media with a consistent tone of voice and personality.
❖ Set the tone of voice and personality across all social media accounts.
❖ Work with the communications and design teams to source and create quality content for scheduling across accounts via the “Later App.”
❖ Respond quickly and reliably to followers and directly engage with accounts of niche influencers on a daily basis to create “raving fans.”
❖ Execute marketing campaigns such as paid advertising and giveaway contests to reach growth milestones and drive traffic to our website.
❖ Manage lists and databases to organize and properly administer user tags, captions, and hashtags for consistency, professionalism, and growth across
Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
❖ Monitor analytics to identify and present trends and growth patterns that could impact the overall success of marketing campaigns and our brand.
❖ Identify and monitor key industry and niche social media influencers.
❖ Create content by writing articles, drafting social media messaging, producing videos, designing infographics and photo artwork, and anything else your creativity allows you.

Previous experience and skills within the responsibilities of this particular position are preferred, but more importantly is the ability to buy-in to the big picture of what Jazz Crawl Productions is on a mission to accomplish and find various ways to contribute to the team's efforts.

❖ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proofreading, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects and workflows alongside team members.
❖ Proactive self-starter with strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to build up team members and brand awareness.
❖ Passion for helping others and an interest in the entertainment industry, live music, dance, art, digital media, and/or New Orleans culture.
❖ An appetite for learning new programs and tools through tutorials, particularly workflows and template collaborations in Adobe Creative Design software.
❖ Access to personal computer or laptop, preferably a Mac, and a student or individual subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud system of design software.
❖ Experience leading teams and managing social media campaigns for brands across multiple platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
❖ A degree in marketing, digital media marketing or something similar or current enrollment in such a program.
❖ Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite design tools, particularly for image and video organization, template formatting, editing, and exporting.
❖ Ability to commit at least 10 hours a week to team tasks and goals from July through December, and an interest in continuing to serve our mission beyond the internship.
❖ High interest in leadership and entrepreneurship to take the reins and advance the ever-growing Jazz Crawl Productions ideas and side projects.
❖ Curiosity about city cultures, artistic histories, untapped talent, and an interest to learn and expand personally through suggested literature and travel.

Tutorials There will be software and systems tutorials to help you learn the skills necessary to execute tasks. Some of the tutorials will be required for you to complete in order to be equipped for your primary responsibilities, while others are encouraged for personal growth and versatility within our teams. All content created during your internship can be used to bring value to your professional reel and school credit can be given upon completion.
