Alexis and Kat are looking for a full-time sales associate to join the Pop City & Funrock'n sales team.

Lead Sales Staff / Full-Time / Pop City & Funrock'n

Both Pop City and Funrock'n, retail leaders in the New Orleans area, are seeking full-time lead sales team members. These positions will work directly under the assistant manager to ensure all sales goals and initiatives are implemented with the highest level of professionalism and results.

The ideal candidate meets or exceeds the following criteria and job description:

- Can sell basics and upsell to a constantly changing customer dynamic.

-Thrives on sales goals and is eager to meet and exceed those goals and identify any changes that should be made by working with the AM (assistant manager and ownership) to implement changes in real time that lead to increase sales

- Able to consistently follow-through on inventory checks

- Provide, implement and sustain luxury brand customer service

- Able to mentor and assist other team members in all aspects of the business as well as provide support to the AM on merchandising when necessary

- Understands retail terminology and can interact with ownership in the elements of operations relevant to sales, goals, cogs, merchandising and staff

- Can perform consistently and exhibits a happy approach to work life

- Easily transitions throughout the work day

- Can communicate effectively and use all administration tools properly

- Can operate a point of sale system and has cash handling / key holder experience

- Can identify and take action to the benefit and sustainability of the company

- Reliable transportation and consistent in work ethic

- Understands and uses social media and finds relevancy for traffic

- Can train other staff members as well as support AM in identifying areas where staff training needs are necessary and implement those alongside the AM to increased sales and professionalism in the store team environment

Other relevant skills:

- Trained on all aspects of inventory and understands how to communicate on both the receiving side as well as the ordering/request of product end

- Can easily support management

Candidate Requirement:

-High School diploma or equivalent

-point of sale experience highly valued

-Cash handling and key holder experience a must

-experience in brand marketing and presentation

On boarding and Benefits:

Training pay and hourly compensation with a full-time/five day schedule. Regular reviews and increases are available based on meeting and exceeding performance goals and company employee standards. Weekends and some holidays. Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Paid vacation after one year of service.
