Job Title : Cashier Supervisor
We are looking for a responsible hard-working professional with a great attitude and amazing people skills to join our thrift store. The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day store operations. Supervising the entire front end of the store working in partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure all daily operating procedures and store policy are being upheld.

Job :
10am - 7pm Tuesday thru Saturday - Off Sunday and Monday (store closes at 6 but there are closing tasks that must be done before leaving)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise the day-to-day tasks of store employees.
Provide superior customer service to all customers: greeting, assisting, answering questions
Good communication skills with Management as well as other employees
Respond to customer complaints and questions
Assist with the training and development of store employees.
Counting and keeping track of all money in the store
Example : Cashier drawers, Safe, Deposits - Also ordering change
Lead by example to ensure all daily tasks are completed in the store.
Enforce established daily operating procedures.
Example : Monitoring lunch breaks, Making sure areas are kept clean, Making sure employees are having a sense of urgency, Assigning duties
Complete daily paperwork in a timely manner as established by management.
Ensure execution of the safety, security and retail operations policies and procedures
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Previous experience supervising/managing others
Minimum 5 years of management
Must be able to pass background check
Full resume with up to date contacts
Must be able to count large sums of money and balance banking
Strong commitment to teamwork
Strong leadership, team building and managerial skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers and manager.
