JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable, accurate and efficient Sales Associate to join our team! A friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills and attention to details are a must. As a Seasonal Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting store operations during our peak season.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greet, engage, and determine customers' needs in the store to ensure a customer focused environment with outstanding service.
· Support supervising duties as needed under the guidance of store management
· Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience
· Engage in retail sales activities to promote products and maximize sales
· Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
· Communicate information about quality, value, and style of various product lines.
· Utilize retail POS system.
· Process incoming inventory.
· Adhere to daily opening/closing duties.
· Prepare shipments via Shopify as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School or above preferred
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
· Attention to details a must
· Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
· Hours will vary and are to be determined. Holiday, evenings and weekends included. We are only closed Thanksgiving day and Christmas day.
· Previous retail experience greatly preferred
· Must be able to work independently, identifying tasks that need attention.
· Physical requirements: professional appearance, ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. without restrictions, climb ladder, reach above the shoulders, perform repetitive tasks such as oiling/waxing cutting boards.
