National lighting company seeking to hire aggressive, highly self motivated individuals for an Assistant Sales Management position. Lighting experience a plus but not required. The duties of an Assistant Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:
Assist the team as directed.
Train, schedule, and manage employees in daily tasks.
Develop good customer relationships and address customer service needs.
Manage purchasing, inventory, maintenance, and other operational functions.
Research and learn product, monitor sales performance.
Engage in phone sales, cold calling, and outside sales calls.
Serve as acting Sales Manager when out of the office.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Excellent listening skills to fully understand the needs of the customer.
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented.
Demonstrate multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Required:
At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 2 years of previous phone sales experience, and 1 year of supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years.
Able to read, write, and understand English, a secondary language a plus.
