Instrument Specialist

Job DescriptionProvide technical guidance as well as "hands-on" expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting and improving long-term reliability of the site Instrumentation assets. Responsible for providing technical support to maintenance and operations personnel in all areas of the plant as well as training and development of instrument maintenance personnel. Generate ideas and demonstrate drive for implementation of effective preventative and predictive instrument maintenance programs.· Create maintenance strategies for site instrumentation.· Standardize instrumentation documents and procedures.· Assist engineering in developing maintenance sustenance project scopes.· Support Capital Projects as they relate to the Instrument and Control Systems.· Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.· Assist with completion of MOC (Management of Change)/PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) action items.· Develop obsolescence plans, critical spare strategy for aging instrumentation.· Optimize and enhance the reliability of the Asset Management Software (AMS) system to ensure efficient management of instrumentation assets, including configuration, data management, and reporting functionalities.· Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to instrumentation and control systems.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
