Job Title: Electrical Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Shreveport, LAPosition: Electrical Maintenance TechnicianJob Description: Aerotek is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a contractor in this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing our production equipment. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and a passion for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery and equipment.
Collaborate with multi-craft teammates to ensure efficient operation of production lines.
Inspect and maintain pumps, sprockets, chains, conveyor rollers, and other electrical components.
Utilize knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and 480 v equipment to make repairs.
Assist in equipment installations and modifications.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Electrical aptitude and technical level experience.
Ability to read electrical blueprints.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (Monday to Friday) from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, with rotating night shifts every 30 days.
No holiday work required in addition to 10 paid holidays.
Paid hourly through lunch
