The Project Support Engineer plays a critical role in assisting the Retrofit Division’s project delivery teams with the technical and operational support required to execute retrofit projects efficiently and to the highest quality.This individual will provide day-to-day engineering assistance across multiple projects, supporting planning, design coordination, procurement, documentation, compliance, and communication between stakeholders.Technical & Engineering SupportAssist in the preparation, review, and coordination of technical drawings, specifications, and submittals.Support engineering teams with design updates, modifications, and layout changes during project execution.Participate in site surveys and technical assessments to gather data for retrofit solutions.Review as-built documentation and ensure alignment with completed works.Project CoordinationTrack and update project schedules, milestones, and task lists using project management tools.Coordinate with internal departments (design, procurement, installation teams) to align project timelines and resources.Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of project components.Documentation & CompliancePrepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, method statements, risk assessments, and O&M manuals.Ensure all technical documentation complies with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.Assist with QA/QC documentation and project handover packages.Procurement & LogisticsAssist in the preparation of materials take-offs and equipment schedules.Liaise with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials and components.Track deliveries and support logistics coordination for project sites.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Support the implementation of site-specific HSE plans and compliance with all regulations.Assist in documenting toolbox talks, safety audits, and incident reports as required.
