Primary location: CalaisThe Security Department follows Standard Operating Guidelines to accomplish the safety and security of all patients, visitors and employees at Down East Community and Calais Community Hospital. Security remains vigilant in identifying security and safety issues that arise, logging any issues in an incident report to be reviewed by the Security Supervisor. Security follows specific rounds, checking for unlocked doors and anything out of the ordinary. Security assists all departments with patient monitoring, lift assists, patient restraints and any other duties that the department feels are in direct association with the security and safety of both hospitals.Minimum Requirements:High School Graduate, trade school or equivalentAbility to routinely use maintenance products and solutionsMust be able to follow instructions both written and verbalAdapts well to sudden changesAble to work with minimal supervisionCommunicates non-routine items/issues to the Security SupervisorConducts routine rounds of the buildingAssist in monitoring patients as neededCompletes work order assignments as time allowsMaintains courteous and respectful manner with other departmentsAlways displays a positive and professional attitudeMust be willing to cover shifts at other job sites when necessaryBenefits:
