We are seeking a skilled and passionate Piercer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of body art and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Piercer, you will be responsible for performing body piercings in a safe, hygienic manner while ensuring a positive experience for each client.
Duties
Perform body piercings with precision and care, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
Educate clients on aftercare procedures and the importance of proper hygiene.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice.
Assist in store management tasks, including inventory management and product displays.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to help clients choose appropriate jewelry options.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns clients may have.
Collaborate with other artists in the studio, sharing techniques and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in body piercing; certification in first aid is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and the ability to maintain a sterile environment.
Familiarity with tattooing techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
Sales experience is beneficial for promoting jewelry and services offered in-store.
Ability to illustrate designs or concepts may enhance client interactions.
A passion for body art and an understanding of current trends within the industry.
