Location: Portland, Maine

Description: We are seeking a Data Manager who will be responsible for collaborating with school district IT departments to obtain SFTP data feeds of student information and integrate them into our advanced routing platform. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive data in compliance with FERPA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Incredible attention to detail

Establish and maintain secure SFTP connections with school district IT departments to receive student data feeds.

Oversee the ingestion and integration of student data into our routing platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Diligently follow FERPA regulations to protect the confidentiality and security of student data.

Proactively monitor the status of data feeds in real time, with a focus on identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize impact on school district clients.

Collaborate with IT and routing teams to ensure seamless data integration and optimization of routing processes.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance data feed reliability and performance.

Provide regular reports and insights on data feed status and issue resolution to key stakeholders.

Stay updated with the latest data management practices and technologies to continually improve data handling processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing SFTP data feeds and handling sensitive information.

Strong understanding of FERPA and other relevant data protection laws.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data feed issues efficiently.

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with IT departments and internal teams.

Proficient in data management tools and technologies.

Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Salary: The salary range for this position is between $43,491 and $57,273, commensurate with experience.
