At Toddle Inn we believe in supporting the growth and development of children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Our educators guide the development of important skills through intentional teaching practices that meet the needs of the whole child. A responsive, play-based curriculum connects children to the world around them and encourages children to wonder, gain confidence, explore interests, and discover a love of learning.
Responsibilities would include: meeting the needs of each individual infant with family collaboration, modeling peer interactions, modeling age appropriate social skills, encourage, mimic and expand infant language, working with co-teachers to create and implement responsive seasonal based curriculum focusing on the Maine Infant/Toddler Learning Guidelines, offering sensory based learning experiences, maintaining a safe nurturing environment, documenting developmental goals and communicating effectively with families regarding their child's day.
Minimum 2 Years experience in a child care setting required. Minimum of a CDA preferred.
Excellent candidates should be comfortable working with children 6 weeks - 14 months.
Toddle Inn cares for children 6 weeks - 12 years from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday
