Providing care for plants and the living wall system that supports them in Maine General Hospital, Augusta. The plant care service person visits approximately every two weeks, removes any dead or yellowing leaves, prunes the plants to encourage bushiness and control the size, checks for insects, monitors that the lighting and automatic irrigation system is fully working and sends a couple of pictures to management when done. They report any issue they are not able to solve to management as well as keeping management updated on any plant replacements that are needed. Ongoing communication is key, plant knowledge is helpful and people skills are greatly appreciated. Each visit should take 60-90 minutes at most.
