Baker’s assistant/prep person needed for newly opened bakery in Searsport.
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Production Assistant to join our team and contribute to the creation of delicious baked goods. In this role, you will work closely with our master baker to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the production process.
Requirements: Basic kitchen/pastry skills
Responsibilities include:
- measuring ingredients,
-preparing dough,
-operating baking equipment,
-sandwich making,
-light cleaning, such as spraying down surfaces, sweeping & dishes
-maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a bakery or food production setting is a plus. Starting Pay: $18/hr (dependent upon experience)
