Bar Futo, a Japanese-inspired restaurant rooted in binchotan-fired cooking in the heart of Portland’s Old Port, is looking for a server/bartender to add to the team. Job Responsibilities
Create a friendly and welcoming environment for all guests
In depth knowledge of food menu and drink offerings
Maintain positive attitude and good communication with teammates
Help maintain high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
Qualifications/Experience
2 years minimum serving/bartending experience
Keen interest and willingness to learn
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended period (up to 12 hours)
Knowledge of sake/wine and Japanese ingredients/techniques is a plus
