GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for setup, maintenance, and operation of the bar. Takes drink orders from patrons or servers and prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Mixes ingredients for cocktails and serves wine and bottled or draught beer. Processes drink orders in the computer system and collects payments. Washes and sterilizes glassware, prepares garnishes for drinks and prepares and replenishes. Describes menu and daily specials, takes orders, serves food and makes sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes daily side work.
Sets up and breakdowns/cleans entire bar:
o Restocks glasses, garnishes, bar mixes, backup liquor/beer/wine.
Provides excellent customer service to all patrons (food and beverage service).
Interacts with customers in a polite and friendly manner.
Prepares all drinks for bar customers and servers (service bar).
Maintains all food safety and health code regulations.
Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive beverage knowledge, bartending experience in similar settings, time management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
