We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chief Steward to join our dynamic team aboard our research vessel. The Chief Steward will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel by managing the provision of high-quality culinary services and maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for crew members and research personnel. We are offering a 60 day on 30 days off schedule. Typically the ship will go out for 14-20 days at a time. When not sailing the ship ties up at naval station Newport, where you will prepare the ship with adequate store for our next survey. You will have a team of 2 and will serve around 35-40 people per day. Rooms are 2 person staterooms, with star link so you can facetime and communicate ashore at will. Please apply here:
