Bring your talents and pick up a few new ones. Help us cook up some carefully made, honest, soulful, real food with the very exceptional and special midcoast ingredients and get paid very well while you’re doing it. Seeking all kind, thoughtful, hardworking food and drink-oriented persons who might be interested in joining the small but mighty Sammy’s Deluxe team in the kitchen. Some experience, no experience, lots of experience— all are welcome to apply. We are looking to bring people on on a rolling basis from now to mid-spring/early summer, so please get in touch even if you're not free for a few weeks.

The position is full-time, 4 days a week, roughly 40 hours per week with a three days weekend. Competitive base hourly pay plus tips.

Sam Richman worked at some of the best, most rigorous restaurants in the world (the Fat Duck, WD-50, Jean Georges, Gramercy Tavern, etc.) before opening Sammy's Deluxe. Sammy's Deluxe has the benefit of using the the smart and worthwhile techniques from all of these "fancy" restaurants, while also using much better ingredientsthe riches of the Midcoast of Maineand leaving the fancy pretention at the door. Sam also has an extensive knowledge of local mushrooms as well as fishing and other foraging and he supplies the restaurant with some of these most exciting seasonal ingredients. This is a unique opportunity to further your cooking craft, making real food with exceptional ingredients under vary excellent direction and collaboration.
