Two Fat Cats Bakery is looking for a year-round, full-time (35-40hrs) retail associate to join our team. This position works at our 195 Lancaster Street, Portland location.
Two Fat Cats Bakery is a small, but dynamic bakery specializing in pies and cakes. We are a company with a deep love for our community, and for good food and the joy that comes with it. The bakery is open Tues - Saturday and seasonally on Sundays.
As our retail/customer service associate, you are the face of the bakery- we all wear many hats throughout the day, and there will be many opportunities to learn and sharpen your skills!
Your main duties will include:
providing excellent customer service
cashiering
filling orders
maintaining the appearance of the display case
prep as needed and maintaining product integrity
handling and storing food properly
keeping the bakery looking clean and inviting
cleaning, stocking, and chores
answering the phone and taking detailed orders
pitching in to help wherever you can!
This is a great position for someone who is a people person, likes to work as a team and do a little bit of everything!
We offer good benefits, a generous PTO policy, and a general desire to do right by all people. This is a tipped position and tips add $6-$10 to base pay. Customer service experience and weekend availability is a must.
