Gill's is a new neighborhood bar in the West End from the team behind Wayside Tavern. We plan to open late August / early September and are currently looking for a Lead Bartender to assist management in overseeing the beverage program and daily bar operations.
Ideal candidate has 3+ years of bartending in an upscale / craft cocktail environment. Very well-versed in the classics. Looking for someone who fosters teamwork, leads by example and likes to make people smile!
This is a full-time hourly + tip position.
Responsibilities Include:
Setting up the bar each shift to the established standards
Providing exceptional hospitality to our guests by creating a fun & lively atmosphere
Liquor, beer, wine and bar supplies order
Responsible for maintaining product consistency and technical standards behind the bar
Responsible for developing and overseeing cleaning schedule for bar team
Assist with beverage training for staff
Assist in developing cocktail program
Train new bartenders
Complete monthly inventory
