Hello There!

We are New England Home Connections, a year-round beach destination located in Scarborough, ME in Pine Point. We offer short term rentals to a variety of customers, ready to get their beach on, and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Associates.

Housekeeping Associates are responsible for handling the daily cleaning of the guest accommodations and common facilities such as yard, stairs and porch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

== Cleaning Units==

Clean and prepare the units after every guest check-out to make sure they are ready for our upcoming guests, ensuring a 5-star guest experience in cleanliness.

Dust/clean external furniture on the site after every check-out.

Report maintenance issues, and help to fix them when it is possible.

Report damages made by guests.

== Cleaning Common Areas ==

Clean off steps and beach accessories.

Perform monthly deep cleans following our cleaning checklists.

Report maintenance issues; making sure everything operates correctly during all times.

Clean the common grills if necessary on the property.

== Supplies & Inventory ==

Keep the supplies storage/shelving area as organized as possible, maintaining the proper labeling system for storage.

Submit inventory requests to restock supplies and make sure we always have appropriate stock.

== Compensation & Scheduling ==

Compensation starts at $25 per unit, plus performance bonuses.

Typically 16+ hours/week (Shifts between 2-6 hours)

Year-round operations: We offer stability and a steady source of work with the opportunity to build a long-term working relationship.

Location: The position is mainly in Scarborough, ME but we are also looking for someone flexible to potentially work at least once a week in our Portland, ME location.

== Desired Competencies & Skills ==

High School diploma.

2 years of Housekeeping/Laundry experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively in a professional tone.

Receptive to constructive feedback and ability to apply improvement action plans.

Attention to detail.

Must have reliable transportation.

Good understanding of navigating phone applications.
