Two Fat Cats Bakery is opening a new location in the West End and we are looking for year-round, part-time (10-32 hrs) kitchen team members to join our team! Two Fat Cats West End will be a bakery/cafe/market scheduled to open in October at 144 State Street in the Nightingale building. Like our Lancaster Street bakery, TFC West End will be a dynamic bakery offering the best in rustic American-style baking with a deep love for our community, good food and the joy that comes with it.
Our kitchen team positions are morning/day positions starting about 5:30am and ending at 2pm. Since these are part-time positions, we are happy to work with you to craft a schedule that suits your needs. New employees can work as little as 10 hours or as many as 32 hours.
The kitchen team is responsible for making all our soups, sandwiches, salads, and prepared meals. Other responsibilities include:
following recipes
accurate measuring and weighing
consistency and efficiency in production
collaboration on menu development
adherence to safety protocols
cleanliness in the kitchen and our work environment
We are looking for individuals who are respectful and polite, have a sense of humor, attention to detail, team focused, and take pride in their work.
While skill and experience are a plus, we will happily provide training for the right person. Training and orientation will begin in late September. We offer a generous PTO policy, and a general desire to do right by all people. T
