Leeward is a chef-owned and operated Italian-ish restaurant in downtown Portland focusing on house-made pasta and locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. In 2022, we were named a finalist for the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in America and included in the NYT's 50 Best Restaurants. In 2024 and 2025, we were nominated and named a semi-finalist for the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Northeast.
We are looking to add a line cook to our team. Our ideal candidate would have at least two years of professional cooking experience, but we're willing to train the right person. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime. 4 shifts per week with 3 days off. Nights and weekend availability is required. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
