Dara Bistro is Hiring a Morning Supervisor for our Coffeeshop.
The tentative hours for this position are Friday-Tuesday 6:00am-1:30pm(Wednesday & Thursday OFF). However if different days off are required, please make a note in your application and you may be still considered.
Food Service Experience is required, We are willing to train a candidate who does not have prior managing experience.
Duties include weekly scheduling of Front of House staff, Ensuring the restaurant is opened and closed to standard, covering for employee breaks on the floor, occasionally assisting the kitchen to maintain fast ticket times, and overall ensuring the flow and energy of the shop is kept going smoothly. the expectation is that you are actively working on the floor in some capacity for 5 hours a day, and then 2 hours each day will be spent on Ordering product, managing schedules for staff, keeping the POS up to date, and managing daily food and drink specials. a 30 minute break is provided each shift.
This position also has 3 weeks of paid vacation time built in throughout the year, as well as a generous employee discount program.
