“The Shop” by Island Creek Oystersa retail shellfish market and raw bar is now hiring for our shucking/kitchen team. We are seeking full or part-time individuals to staff our shellfish counter on Washington Ave.
The ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in shellfish and an empathetic, personalized approach to customer service.
Some of the qualifications are weekend availability, and the ability to work efficiently solo as well as contribute positively to an enthusiastic team of friendly, hard-working people.
Experience is beneficial but happy to train the right candidate.
#1 requirement is the ability to roll up your sleeves and work and have a good time doing it.
