Broadway Bowl in South Portland is looking to hire an experienced Sous Chef. Following the success of our sister location, Bayside Bowl, Broadway is a new spot in South Portland. It's a place where people come together for fun, bowling, and delicious food.
The Sous must have experience managing kitchen staff and ensure that the food is always top-notch in quality and presentation. You should have a solid cooking background, be good at coming up with menu ideas for specials, and be ready to assist the Head Chef whenever needed.
The core menu is created for a fast/casual experience. Think of Smash Burgers, Smoked Chicken Wings, Pulled Pork & Fried Chicken Sandwiches. Most of the menu is made in-house or provided by local businesses. The full menu has been linked below for reference.
It's a full-time position, averaging around 40-42 hours per week. The kitchen closes at 9pm, so there won't be any super late nights. This is an excellent job for someone looking for stability, a good work/life balance, and a fun place to work.
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000, with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, with a company contribution. Additionally, we provide two weeks of paid time off.
