Position: Tasting Room Staff
Job Overview
As a member of our Tasting Room Staff, your primary role will be to ensure our tasting room operates smoothly and our customers have an enjoyable experience. You'll be the face of our brewery, helping to maintain the atmosphere that makes us special.
Responsibilities
Delivering a consistent and pleasant customer
experience.
Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our tasting room menu and products.
Ensuring the cleanliness of the tasting room, outdoor patios, and restrooms.
Continuously developing your craft beer knowledge.
Keeping the tasting room cooler and merchandise cooler adequately stocked.
Performing opening/closing duties, including balancing the cash register.
Ensuring the facility is properly secured at the end of the day.
Stepping in during emergency situations.
Regularly meeting with the Tasting Room & Facilities Manager to review performance.
Punctual arrival and departure for shifts and brewery events.
Attending onsite and offsite events as needed.
Completing other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Adequate customer service and/or industry experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Hardworking and detail-oriented.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift 55+ lbs regularly.
Comfortable working in hot, cold, and/or wet environments.
Ability to stand and work on concrete floors for the duration of the shift.
Ability to safely bend, crouch, and reach.
Hours
Hours are regulated by the tasting room's hours of operation and special event requirements. Schedule determined weekly by the Tasting Room & Facilities Manager and Chief Executive Officer.
