A context-aware, caring, and personalized solution to your health questions. Something feels like your personal health assistant, and supports patients in navigating complex care situations and questions.
People with complex or chronic conditions are often feeling very overwhelmed, and isolated trying to manage their care, prepare appointments, and get answers to some of their questions.
We are hoping to change that.
We are looking for an empathetic and knowledgeable nurse to run a limited pilot of the platform. This is a very flexible opportunity, where we are willing to work around your schedule.
What you would do:
(All remotely)
- Essentially be a user's care navigator / health coach
- Be matched up with users (<20 to start), and help them manage their care with empathy, prepare appointments, understand their diagnosis, be a thought-partner in thinking through next steps.
- 30 minute phone or video sessions with some of them
- Answering questions via email for others
(Optional) If you are interested and passionate about our mission to build a more caring, and personalized solution to people's health questions, we would welcome a thought-partner to think through a couple of key challenges as we look to scale our platform. This could take the form of additional paid consulting work for example based on your availability.
Schedule & Compensation
This is a flexible opportunity to run a first pilot. The initial time commitment would probably be between 1 and 5 hours a week. We would just ask that you provide opportunities at a few different times throughout the week for sessions with users.
You will be paid for your time both for email interactions with users, and live "coaching" sessions.
Compensation is between $33-$39/hr based on profile & availability.
Opportunity for additional compensation. Flexible contract duration.
What we're looking for
- Empathetic care partner, someone willing to roll up their sleeves and help patients who tend to feel particularly helpless or lost find solutions
- Intimate knowledge of the health care system
- Exceptional communication skills
- Scrappy mindset. This is a first pilot, and we are looking for someone who is ready to be a true partner, provide feedback to help us improve the solution etc.
- Ideally registered nurse, but would consider other adjacent qualifications & experience
- Access to a computer & good enough internet connection for video calls
