Retired attorney who has ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) seeks a caregiver to work four days per week,
Sunday – Wednesday 4pm-12am. Ability to take on extra shifts from time to time is helpful.
Be part of a small team providing 24/7 care in the patient’s homes in Portland and Scarborough. As she is paralyzed and on a ventilator, you must be able to lift her manually. She communicates using a sophisticated computer system and letter board.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be caring and compassionate and computer literate.
- CNA or similar experience and some college are preferred. Training will be provided.
- We seek a candidate who is able to commit to at least 2 years on the job.
Hourly rate will be determined based on your experience.
