Title: Construction/ Versatile Position
Job Description: We are looking for someone to join our construction group to finish building our weekly rental home on Mount Desert Island for the summer of 2024.
Key Responsibilities: All the tasks that go from A to Z To build a home will be included:
Light framing, Plumbing, Electrical and Finish work.
Operating heavy equipment such as our excavator
Landscaping work
Maintenance of the Equipment and Properties
Tracking of expenses and materials
Qualifications:
Prior construction experience is preferable but not necessary.
Ability to follow instruction and execute.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
Creative problem solving skills.
Work Environment:
This is a job site located on a residential lot on Mount Desert Island only 1 mile away from Seawall Campground. The location can't be beat. We are right across the street from the water in Southwest Harbor. We are a fun group who are very willing to teach all required skillsets.
Compensation: TBD
Starting at $20/hr ; Will be greater depending on skillset and enthusiasm.
Housing may be available on site and can be negotiated into compensation package.
