Job Summary
Ensure guest satisfaction and the efficient operation of the hotel by supervising all aspects of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager. Assist the General Manager and team by continually focusing on achieving guest satisfaction and providing support with daily duties including but not limited to the following:
Guest check ins
Laundry
Room Turns
Reservations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and work well under pressure.
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems, as necessary.
Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
Must be able to communicate clearly with team and guests
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Comply and ensure adherence to standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Ensure the efficient operation of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager by supervising and supporting departments. Communicate and/or correct deficiencies in these departments in conjunction with the supervisor on duty.
Assist the General Manager as needed with guest check-in, room turns, and laundry.
Assist in creating a positive work environment to ensure guest and team satisfaction.
Assist the General Manager with the creation of reports, such as schedules, and daily work duties
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Be in the public areas during peak times greeting guests and helping as needed.
Schedule:
10 hour shift
12 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends
