Restful Roots LLC is looking for a full time employee to work four days a week in a fine gardening/landscaping position. Starting pay is $22 an hour but will change quickly based on experience. The job is 4 days a week working a 7-8 hour day. Schedule would be Tuesday-Friday so every weekend is a long one!
An ideal job for someone that desires to work outdoors or has interest in the field of native gardening and horticulture. This is not really a position for someone that's looking for a typical landscaping position. We strongly prefer the candidate to have an interest in plants, ecology and horticulture.
Who we are:
Restful Roots LLC is a small, “mom and pop” fine gardening and landscaping company. We do not mow. We specialize in garden bed installation and maintenance with an emphasis on native plants. The business is co-owned by a wife and husband that have decades of experience between them.
The job:
This is a gardening and landscaping position which means the labor can be difficult. Tasks like weeding, mulching, planting, edging etc. will be performed. On installation jobs (which are more physically demanding), the candidate will receive an extra $3 an hour. The position runs from April-December. Valid drivers license required. Willing to train the right person.
