Seeking Landscape Gardener
(Greater Kennebunk area)
Garden Design, LLC is a small multi-talented gardening company looking for full and/or part time employees.
We have been designing, installing and maintaining private gardens for 27 years. Our fine gardening crew utilize a diverse range of trees, shrubs, perennials, vines, ground covers, annuals, vegetables and herbs. We creatively design, install, prune, plant and look after gardens and outdoor spaces with a mix of purpose, hard work and finesse. We pay attention to proper siting of material, good soil management and use organic amendments. Our work includes hardscapes and trellising.
We are looking for individuals who have a great work ethic and positive attitude, love the outdoors, and want to learn more about gardening and landscaping.
Useful skills would include:
Physical strength, stamina and the ability to work steady in all kinds of weather conditions.
Capable of pacing yourself while paying attention to detail and finesse.
A good driving record and the ability to drive a standard and/or willing to learn.
Good communications skills. The ability to receive instruction and work both independently and
with the crew in a professional, respectful and an efficient way.
Some knowledge and interest of gardening and landscaping is helpful.
Rate of pay is negotiable based on experience and work ethic.
Positions available are full and/or part time. Usual work schedule is 8:00-4:30 with seasonal adjustments as needed.
Gardening is hard work and fun for those who love it.
