Manufacturing Kitchen Associate

Job Summary:

As a Manufacturing Kitchen Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary team by preparing ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. Your responsibilities include measuring and weighing raw materials, setting up kettles, assisting cooks, and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, SOP). You’ll also cross-train in warehouse and production line duties, contributing to our team’s success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients for cooking in accordance with company standards

Assist cooks with kettle setup, product processing, and daily production schedules

Maintain a clean and organized work area, following sanitation and safety protocols

Operate equipment safely, including RF scanners, and WMS systems

Report safety, quality, or maintenance concerns to management promptly

Adhere to FEFO (First Expired, First Out) guidelines and batch sequencing

Follow all Module 9, GMP, HACCP, and SOP policies without deviation

Cross-train in warehouse and production line tasks as needed

Work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, to meet business demands

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment

Basic math skills; experience with weights/scales is a plus

Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
