We are looking to hire a full time Operations Manager for our Turner, Maine office!
The potential candidate will have experience in the traffic control industry with the ability to manage recruiting, scheduling, client relations and retention while overseeing daily operations.
The Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Turner branch, which may include the following responsibilities:
Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
Manage daily schedules of flaggers and fulfill client requests
Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee daily operations efficiency
Formulate strategic and operational objectives
Help the organization to remain on target and meet deadlines
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s
Recruit, train and supervise staff
Mentor and train other operational staff
Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Reporting status of all projects to leadership
Providing initial and ongoing contact with potential candidates
Setting up and conducting interviews, conducting onboarding sessions
Taking an active role in the sales and business development of the Maine market
The ideal candidate:
- Must be willing to travel throughout the state of Maine to oversee daily operations of road crews
- Must be able to work independently, but also as part of a close working team
- Must have strong communications and organizational skills
- Traffic control and flagging experience preferred
