Job Description: We are seeking an individual to join our Support Staff team. The Maintenance Grounds position provides support for our 315-acre River Bend farm campus. The property is a combination of newer and older buildings, consisting of a 144 bed dorm, Dining commons, Various houses, and barns. The staff provide exceptional service to maintain the facility, grounds, and equipment according to the highest standards for use and safety.
Compensation
The Seasonal Grounds Maintenance position is a non-exempt position and will receive an hourly wage plus approved overtime. The salary is $22-25per hour. PTO, Holiday, insurance, retirement
Responsibilities
Mowing & trimming lawns and roadsides
Tree and shrub maintenance including pruning, installation, and watering
Trail maintenance
Seasonal road maintenance
Painting
Carpentry
Light plumbing and electric work
HVAC preventative maintenance
Special event support
Snow removal
Ongoing maintenance of structures and systems
Qualifications
18 years old
Able to perform manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions.
Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment preferred
Able to climb a ladder
Able to lift 50 pounds
