Leaf Labs is a cannabis cultivation and manufacturing operation located in Sanford, ME serving both the Medical and Adult Use markets. Our goal is to provide clean, quality cannabis at an affordable price to the consumer and sell products we care about. Leaf Labs is seeking a Cannabis Manufacturing Technician to complete order fulfillment, manufacturing and packaging needs, and operate our PR200 Pre-Roll machine to fulfill our pre-roll needs as well as do contract manufacturing for other businesses and client. The position will be an extension of our manufacturing operations and will involve working with sales and cultivation teams to plan and coordinate manufacturing schedules as well as working with our customers to ensure they are getting a quality product. The ideal candidate is self motivated, technically minded, and can manage time effectively in a fast paced environment while working alone or with others. Experience in the cannabis industry is encouraged, especially in relation to understanding quality control and the needs of the end consumer.
Role Summary:
The split position of Manufacturing Technician is intended to fulfill the manufacturing needs of Leaf Labs’ with a primary focus on manufacturing for order fulfillment, with a large role in the operations and assistance in the use of the PR-200 pre-roll machine. Within this role, manufacturing refers to all relevant post harvest tasks including but not limited to trimming, packaging, order fulfillment, pre roll manufacturing, other product manufacturing, etc. This hybrid position is of high importance to Leaf Labs for maintaining proper workflows and help post harvest processes and furthermore provide the sales department with the needed products for success.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position are divided into two categories, those related to manufacturing and general responsibilities.
Manufacturing Responsibilities:
● Order fulfillment
○ Ensuring that sales staff has all necessary products available for sale
● Pre Roll-er operation and assistance
● Packaging
○ Including labeling
● Trimming/ post harvest processing
● Inventory Management
○ Keeping track of available inventory of sellable products as well as inventories of
materials needed for manufacturing (packaging etc.)
● Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
General Responsibilities:
● Responsible for other assigned duties
● Work as a member of the assigned team in the performance of duties.
● Be punctual for scheduled work and use time appropriately.
● Work in harmonious relationships with all staff, customers, and vendors.
● Perform duties in a conscientious, cooperative manner.
● Perform the required amount of work in a timely fashion with a minimum of errors.
● Maintaining a clean workspace in all personal and shared spaces.

Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and indoor cultivation setting that may involve loud noises, higher than room temperature climate conditions, high humidity, presence of water, debris, potential allergens, and garden related pests.
