CoWorx Staffing is hiring for Manufacturing Associate in the Westbrook, Maine.
Essential Functions:
Pack product at end of production line assisting Line Operators and supervisor on all lines.
Checks quality of labels. Verify Best by Date is correct and legible on 2 jars per case and any other line checks according to quality control standards.
Assist Line Operators in keeping work area tidy, perform routine clean ups, and perform line checks according to quality controls.
The Physical Requirements and Work Conditions as outlined in this job description are essential functions of the job.
Follow all tasks and perform work procedures using Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to ensure food safety.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Plant Manager.
Work Conditions:
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, start time is 8AM to 6PM (or until finish). At times, it may be required that work be outside of the normal work schedule, including weekends.
Physical surroundings are in an indoor setting in a food manufacturing environment.
Frequent exposure to heat, humidity, and a wet environment.
The noise level is usually moderate to loud.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: hearing protection, gloves when applicable.
